Thomas Crowther wins the 2010 Yolo County Amatuer with a score of -8 (61-65-126) followed by Peter Lansburgh at -7 (62-65-127). Tied at 3rd was Nick Amen -3 (62-69-131) and Scott Raber -3 (65-66-131).  Complete Championship results can be viewed  here.

In the Senior Championship flight Gene Ackerman shot -6 on Sunday (70-61-131) to win by three over Dennis Younglove , even par (66-68-134) and Herb Jensen, even par (70-64-134) Complete Senior Championship results can be viewed here.

The First Flight was won by Jason Marks at +9 (73-70-143) followed by Tim Reid +11 (74-71-145) and Brad Fritz +12 (73-73-146). Complete First Flight results can be viewed here.

Second Flight action found Gary Traynham +12 (74-72-146) coming out on top by 5 shots. In second was Mel Castle +17 (74-77-151) and third was Larry Ostergard +18 (73-79-152) Complete Second Flight results can be viewed here.

The cost for each group lesson series is $70. Classes meet twice a week for three weeks.

The adult group lessons are divided into two offerings. The Monday/Wednesday groups and the Tuesday/Thursday groups. All cost $70 each and consists of two one-hour classes per week for three weeks. These classes are offered on a first-come-first-served basis with the classes limited to a maximum of eight students to allow for one-on-one interaction with the instructor.

Beginning I – Introduction to putting, chipping and the full swing.

Beginning II / Refresher – Introduction to sand play, woods, pitch shots and continued work on full swing.

Intermediate – Introduction to game strategy, club selection, and course management. Most of this course is taught on the golf course.

If you have any questions about our lesson programs, please do not hesitate to ask any staff member.

Each class limited to the first 8 paid students, sign-up in the Pro Shop or call 756-4010 to pay with credit card.
